From June 24 to 27, 2026, Nova Gorica and its surroundings (Lokve, Nemci) will host the European Youth Orienteering Championships – EYOC 2026. The best young orienteers from across Europe will come to compete on challenging terrains and experience an unforgettable sporting adventure.
Be a part of something big and unforgettable!
To successfully organize this large international event, we need a motivated team of volunteers. If you enjoy participating in sports events, meeting new people, and want to be part of a special atmosphere, we invite you to join us!
Anyone can be a volunteer; no prior orienteering knowledge is required!

What can yu do to help?
Working at the reception (participant registration, distributing bibs and packages, …)
Catering (transport, meal distribution)
Equipment transport and logistics
Venue preparation and setup
Assisting at the competition venue, including the start and finish areas
Guiding competitors and visitors, serving as marshals
Assisting with parking and directing vehicles
Securing sponsors and prizes
Assisting with the opening ceremony and accompanying program
Computer work, timekeeping, and GPS trackers
General support for the organizing team
Anywhere else help is needed
